Jumping Photo Collage

I'm in the midst of making a jumping photo collage for a wall in my bedroom. For years I have taken "jumping pictures" with the idea of putting them all together. Taking a picture jumping is so much more fun than the normal stand there, arms around each other.

With the collage, I have so many pictures, I'm not even coming close to using them all. But I figure I can always change the pictures up as time goes by. Also, I realized that I don't really need individual pictures of myself on my bedroom wall. Even if it is me in front of the Giza pyramids.

Here's a glimpse of some of my favorites.

I'll let you know how the collage turns out!  Send me your favorite jumping shots. I always love new inspiration!

Stupid Moment of the Weekend

On Thursday I bought a "new" car. My dad got a new car, and then I bought his Volvo from the dealership, after he traded it in. Thursday I didn't work. My mom drove me to the dealership to pick up the car. I drove it home, then stayed in for the night. Friday I woke up to go to work, and could not find the keys anywhere! Thank goodness I still had my old car, the Buick. So my "new" car stayed parked in front of my house.

I got home, searched the house some more, then got a flashlight and headed out to look in the street and the sidewalk. But, the keys were sitting right in the car, very visible in the passenger's seat. It was 6:30pm at night, I didn't feel like dealing with it at the moment.

Sunday, I called a locksmith. He broke into the car, and I got my keys. I also learned that the car alarm works when it needs to. $145.00, I can now drive my car. Hopefully I'll get reimbursed by my insurance company. Expensive mistake.

*Just got an email back from my insurance company. I do get reimbursed! Yay for State Farm Insurance!

Back to School-2011

Tomorrow I head back to school. I had a wonderful winter break, full of sleep, friends, family and food.  Some highlights included heading to my cabin for a few nights, attending lots of Christmas celebrations, bowling with high school friends, lunch with church friends, seeing Billy Elliot (fantastic!!), a New Year's Eve potluck, and downhill skiing with my dad and brother.

I only have three days left with my kindergartners. I'm sad to be done, but that's how these long-term sub jobs work.

Off to bed soon, lately I've had more of a go to bed at 1am, wake up at 10am schedule.  This could make tonight's sleep difficult.  Happy 2011 everyone!
